Sergio Augusto
Né le 1966 à Caxias Brésil, vit et travaille a Malmö, Suède.
Sergio Augusto a étudié les Beaux-arts au Brésil où il est né, puis à Genève où il a vécu plusieurs années et en Suède où il vit actuellement.
Artiste hybride, protéiforme et prolifique, il est à la fois peintre, dessinateur, performeur, sculpteur, scénographe, costumier, écrivain et musicien. Sergio a l’art de tout transformer
-événements quotidiens, rencontres, pensées, opportunités diverses- en expérience artistique et créatrice.
Avec un grand talent de coloriste et un sens graphique inné, c’est un peintre naïf qui nous entraîne dans des lieux imaginaires, avec en arrière plan ce léger doute sur la réalité. Les choses sont ainsi faites, mais ne pourraient-elles pas être aussi comme cela ? Cette distanciation nous emporte et nous fait renouer avec des émotions que nous avions ressenties enfants, des sensations fortes et puissantes vécues lors de nos premières années, lorsque nous découvrions pas à pas le monde extérieur, la vraie vie.
